Editorial Policy

US Directory describes businesses with facts we can show the source for. This page explains how we work and what we refuse to do.

Where facts come from

• Public records, such as Florida license and corporate records.
• What a business publishes on its own website. We keep the exact quote and the page for every fact.

Every fact on a page shows its source and the date we checked it. We do not copy reviews or photos from other platforms.

Independence

• No business pays to be listed, to be ranked higher, or to change a fact.
• If we ever offer paid features to businesses, they will be labeled and kept apart from the ranking. They will not change a score or a position.
• We are not affiliated with the businesses we list.

How we use software

We use software, including AI models, to read business websites and pull out facts together with the exact quote they come from. People check samples of this work before anything is published, and every published fact links back to its source.

Mistakes

When we get something wrong, we correct it. Businesses can use Corrections. Anyone else can write to [email protected].
